Rules

CarUp is a public leaderboard for cars. Adding a car takes a one-time payment, and the amount you pay is your rank — the highest payer sits at #1. No subscriptions, no ads. Money sets the rank, votes break ties.

How ranking works

  • Rank is bought: cars are ordered by the one-time amount paid when they were added. The highest payer holds #1.
  • Votes are free and break ties — equal payments are ordered by votes, then by age (the older car stays higher).
  • You get one vote per car. Vote again to take it back. There are no downvotes — if you don't like a car, vote for a better one.
  • Every submission is paid once, reviewed by a human, and only then appears on the board.

What you can add

  • Any production car, concept car, race car or one-off. If it has four wheels and a badge, it belongs.
  • A photo is required. Cars without a real photo are not accepted. Use your own shot or one you have the rights to use. Renders and AI-generated images are removed.
  • Make, model and model year are required. Adding a trim (GT3, Competition, Nismo…) keeps the board precise.
  • One entry per car and model year. If it's already on the board, vote for it instead of adding a duplicate.
  • No listings for sale, no dealer ads, no phone numbers in descriptions. This is a leaderboard, not a marketplace.
  • A social link is optional — Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube and the rest all work. If you add one, that platform's icon shows next to your car and links straight to the profile.

Photos

  • Landscape photos work best — the board crops to a small thumbnail and the car page shows the full frame.
  • Keep it clean: no watermarks from other sites, no licence plates you'd rather not share, no people in the frame who didn't agree to be there.
  • Photos are resized on upload. Nothing above 1280 px on the long edge is stored.

After you add a car

  • Your car is public immediately and gets its own page you can share.
  • Votes are what move it. Share the link, convince your friends, or let the photo do the talking.
  • Entries that break these rules are removed without notice. Repeat offenders lose the ability to add cars.
